The long-tailed grass lizard, also called the Asian or six-striped long-tailed grass lizard, is a day-active, arboreal lizard of South-east Asia. The tail is usually over three times the length of the head and body, which on average is about 12 cm. Males and females look similar, males being identified by pre-anal pores (Wikipedia, general species account).
It emerges in the early morning to bask in the sun and feeds on small insects such as flies, with extremely fast reactions; individuals have been seen jumping into the air to catch flying prey (Wikipedia, general species account).
