The many-spotted cat snake, also called the large-spotted cat snake or marbled cat-eyed snake, is a rear-fanged colubrid. It is grey-brown above with two alternating rows of round dark brown, reddish-brown or chestnut spots and two rows of smaller spots on the lower sides, and the head carries two blackish bands that diverge towards the rear (Wikipedia, general species account).
It is mostly seen hunting just before daybreak and eats lizards such as geckos and small skinks, and also lizard eggs (Wikipedia, general species account).
