Hipposideros kingstonae is a roundleaf bat first described in 2023 and named after Tigga Kingston in honour of her work on bat conservation in Southeast Asia. It is securely known from far southern Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah in northern Borneo, is likely more widespread on Borneo, and may also occur on Palawan in the Philippines (Wikipedia, general species account).

On mitochondrial DNA it is most closely related to the bicoloured roundleaf bat and Kunz's roundleaf bat, but in form it resembles Hipposideros einnaythu from Myanmar (Wikipedia, general species account).
