The Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphin grows to 2.6 m and weighs up to 230 kg. Its back is dark grey and its belly lighter grey or nearly white with grey spots. It is more slender than the common bottlenose, with a proportionately longer, narrower beak, spots on the belly and lower sides, and more teeth: 23 to 29 on each side of each jaw against 21 to 24 (Reeves et al. 2002, as reported on Wikipedia).
Groups are usually five to 15, occasionally hundreds, and it eats a wide range of fish and squid (Reeves et al. 2002; Amir et al. 2005, as reported on Wikipedia).
