Hemidactylus brookii
Range
Widespread; distribution disputed
Brooke's house gecko, also called the spotted house gecko, is a widespread species of gecko in the family Gekkonidae. Its distribution is controversial: one study restricted the true Hemidactylus brookii to Borneo, while another based its definition on specimens from Nepal. The snout is somewhat longer than the distance between the eye and ear opening (Wikipedia, general species account).
